Because they are heat resistant up to a temperature of 250°C, they are as versatile as the rest of the Le Creuset range. The trivet acts as protection for surfaces and counter tops but it’s also superb as a gripping tool, like holding on to hot cookware, or when mixing up your favourite batter or beating an egg, as it prevents the mixing bowl from moving around.
